Comments or corrections?

I think I know the answer, but before I put brush to figure wanted to check.

If an 88 is part of a divisional organisation would the crew where field grey rather than Luftwaffe blue. I presume that only crew manning 88s that are part of Luftwaffe units would where the blue.

Am j correct or have I made a foolish assumption?

Thanks

Corrects. 88s within army (Heer) divisions were manned by army (Heer) troops, and in SS divisions, SS troops.

Was this the case in 1941? I thought when 88's were first being used as anti-tank weapons in Russia, they were still manned by flak crews. I could have my facts mixed around however.

There were some LW flak companies attached as corps assets within the panzer groups in '41.

As Don says, their wear some LW flak batteries knocking around on the front line. Were they're wear, they wood where blue.

Jemima, I've long wanted to make a comic post exploiting the homophones one finds here, but you've beaten me to it!

'Comic' or maybe just rude. There are a lot of people using TMP whose first language is not English. There are also a lot of people using TMP who may have dyslexia or similar conditions.

Publicly pointing out these trivial errors is inconsiderate and pointless.

Just saying…….

Classy, I thought better of you, a shame.
