Does anyone know of a supplier of 1/6000 ships that I can purchase individually. Not in packs or an entire nations worth. I just want to do small scale battles like River Plate and the Bismark Hunting but I can only find Hallmark miniatures through Magister and for the 14 ships I want I have to buy nearly 40 that I dont want. Is there another supplier or another way. Also is there a PDF set for General Quarters 1/2 or 3 Thank you guys |

Yes Gq3 can be in pdf. Don't bother with Gq2 You can try on yahoo groups as I am sure many a 1/6000 ship owner has single ones to spare. |

GQ3 can be purchased at Old Dominion Gameworks. odgw.com/home.html Once you make a purchase, either hardcover or pdf, you will get access to all the extra download files for whatever ruleset you buy. For example; you can download the special 1CM = 200 yards rulers and turn gauges that were developed for the 1/6000 scale models. You also get good product support through the website forum. (I'm just a frequent customer and not affiliated with the company.) |

As far as I know you can only buy them in the packs. That's the way the manufacturer packages them, and there's only one manufacturer. They're tiny and probably not worth selling individually. Shapeways also has an increasing selection of 1/6000 models, but I doubt those are sold individually either. Most small scale ships on Shapeways come on a sprue of multiple models. On the bright side, 1/6000 is really cheap. You could just paint up the extras and sell them off individually to cover the cost of your project. :-) - Ix |

Zenturtle, I'm not sure where you looked, but you can certainly buy much smaller packs of specific ships on Last Square. For instance, you mention the Battle of River Plate- Here is the link for the 2 pack (for $5.00 USD) of York and Exeter- sure you have to buy both, but that's a far cry from the 40 you mention. link Here's the general link to searching by ship and class type: link I hope you have a lot of fun with your games! |

Last Square has the most complete line for WWII 1:6000 ships. And the small packs typically have 2-5 ships depending on the class, etc. We are starting to put together scenario packs for $6.00 USD for example, River Plate. Just finished our kickstarter project and mailed out ruleset and addendums for In Harm's Way. As part of the kickstarter folks were able to order the scenario packs of ships -- the three scenarios were River Plate, Dogger Bank, and Denmark Straits. info@lastsquare.com |
