What's the historical miniature gaming like in the Providence area? What about scifi and fantasy miniature gaming? Any info would be helpful. |

Hi, we have a regular group that meets just about every Friday in Cranston (just south of Providence). Feel free to email me at rayf1 @ cox DOT net for further info. |

Miniature wargaming: the only kind that will fit in Rhode Island! Ba-dump-bump. |

RAF, I'll be in touch. Tacitus – So true, should be able to get anywhere fast. |

I live on Aquidneck Island and while I am not aware of a formal group here on the Island, I do game with a friend regularly. Also, as Tacitus notes, since Little Rhody is not large, it is easy to take part in gaming at places like the Hobby Bunker in Malden, Massachusetts, which is about an hour and a quarter away. They held a very nice games day a couple of weeks ago. I would also recommend considering Huzzah! which is held every May in Portland Maine. It is about three hours away and is a great regional convention. |

Thanks custosarmorum, I'm currently a member of the group that does Huzzah, so well aware of wargaming in the north. I'm sure I'll make treks back to Maine to game with the group from time-to-time. Looking for a group, club or store where I can get some historical gaming in on a somewhat regular basis. |
