Last night we used Force on Force to create a scenario along the Syria-Iraq border. A detachment of low-quality Kurdish fighters was surrounded by hardened, well equipped ISIS troops. A small team of American operators are available with ample air support to mount an extraction operation. As you can see from the picture, this action went sideways pretty quickly. Nice AAR and mini-review of FoF. I also enjoy the rules. It is simple yet allows some complex things to be represented, and they do it with some flavor and pizzazz. A few items require some study of the rules, but reward you with some neat outcomes that feel right.
