Just getting into WotR 28s for Lion Rampant and looking for scenery to match. Don't know anything about 28 buildings – my only experience are Whitewash City from Hotz. I'm looking for detail bits – walls, wells, etc., and just a couple of buildings – typical country-ish buildings, farmhouse, barn, sheds, etc. Who make some nice pieces that would work well in this setting?

Thank you kindly.

Anything with a "half timbered" look will be fine.

4Ground link
the Perrys also make a nice medieval cottage and Table Top Workshop have some nice buildings including a chapel and a castle.

If starting from scratch for your collection, AND you feel comfortable with light-to-middling modeling, then go 4Ground all the way. Their historical kits are great, and the new fantasy stuff is fantastic.

I believe Table Top Workshop is out of business and the molds have been sold, but not put back in production.

Have a look round this site. They have lots of genuine medieval buildings which should give you an idea of the sort of thing to look for!

Plastic waddle fences from Renadra -- not sure on the spelling at the moment.

Sniff around some of the retailers- you might be able to find somebody who still has some in stock. For example, J&M Miniatures in Canada has them still listed and although the shipping will be brutal the low Canadian dollar may make it worth it.

Codsticker, you could always ask J&M Miniatures to ship via surface. They are very accommodating and I have dealt with them a fair bit and always had excellent service.

I can recommend the Hudson and Allen (Vatican Enterprises) castle and medieval buildings.
