Hi all, I took a month to play my first solo game of SabreSquadron, using the free version of the rules. The scenario was a Soviet company attacking a well-defended West German village in the Fulda Gap in the late '80s. Thanks for sharing your battle report, and maps. Sounds like fun, and good to see it was a hard-fought, tense action, right up until the end. Looks great, and it's easy to follow along with your text, with the turn-based situational maps. I really like them, and have been thinking about using Google maps for setting up some gaming scenarios and tables. How did you create the top-down views of the vehicles and infantry stands for the game? |

Great AAR.. The rules set looks very interesting to the cold wars. Thanks |

Thanks, guys. I used top-down vehicle and infantry images from JuniorGeneral.org and just added a bevel effect in PowerPoint. Lots to pick from at that site. |

Great report and very innovative. This looks a good way of testing or for playing when travelling. |
