Soldiers- my first true war game ever. It even has a scenario for Tsing Tao with Japanese. Great game. |

SPI's The Marne is a cool battle game. It's not much fun being Von Kluck and fighting a battle without a flank. Still a good game, and a fast play. Bob |

And Avalon Hill's Guns of August is a good strategic game. The scenarios will let you play either front, or both. Bob |

Decision Games produces seven Folio Series games covering the First World War, each for about $20.00 USD. In production and easier to find than the out of print games suggested. They cover: Gaza 1917 Suez 1916 Tannenburg Masuria Meuse Argonne Vimy Ridge Loos They also have a system called Der WeltKrieg which is more operational in nature and cover the entire war on each front. This may be more of what you are looking for if you do not want each individual battle. |

Grand Illusion by GMT games for a simplier version of the battles of 1914, enjoyable. 1914, Offensive a outrance by GMT Games if you want a very detailed and large monster game.
