A day or so ago I found a link which led to a page containing pictures of a chap's model spaceships, made out of rawlplugs. I can't for the life of me find it again, even when rooting through my browser history. Can someone help? They were made for use with some homebrew, hex-based rules including planets in our solar system and had rules for planetary gravity if that helps anyone find them. Many thanks Chris |

Sorry, I want to say that was Parzival, but I'm not finding any spaceships or space battle rules on his Blog. Doug Edit: Also, it's best to try other forms, such as 'wall anchors' or 'mollies'. Edit part deux: Well, I found these of Parzival's, but the mollies are only part of the designs. link |

Thanks. Searching for 'wall anchors' led me to find another site! Im tempted to say the original one I found was linked to a test of The Farthest Star rules, but I could be remembering that incorrectly. |

Great idea and fantastic use of scrap! Tony |

Those ships aren't mine, The Beast, but I do mention a similar idea in my rules for GOBS (Generic Outlandishly Big Spacefleets). I even have a collection of wall anchors for this purpose, but still haven't gotten around to making an actual fleet. As for GOBS, it's available here: thegobspage.com I do have a set of near future space combat rules, more detailed than GOBS, called Dark Frontier, which does use hexes and includes gravity effects with vector movement, but the rules aren't currently up on the web. Maybe someday… |

Found it! link The rules were called Triplanetary and the ships are simple and effective. |

Nope, never saw those before, but in my defense, Triplanetary is hardly homebrew. ;->= Thanks, you're right, they're brilliant! Doug |
