I found myself with a load of spare Old Guard heads and re-Bardin bodies, so thought I'd put them to use. Here are my attempts at conversions for a 6 gun battery of Old Guard Foot Artillery at 1:1
Yes, I know Victrix have just brought out a set of these but I like using up spare bits and bobs! – the arms etc are converted British Artillery and you can read about the peaks (and lots more pics) here link Thanks for looking! |

Intelligent use of leftovers, wish I'd done this more interesting job instead of paying for ready-made (and expensive) figures. Please post again when they're ready…I'm sure they'll look excellent.. |

Thanks chaps. Glencairn, what are the Victrix figs like? I saw a pic on the box with Guard Foot bearskins with cords on them, are the heads like that? I always thought they fought without cords. |

Cords were never used on campaign, the cost of these things was prohibitive. That said, you could..er.. embellish your n.c.o. with nice cords just to make him stand out a bit. |
