… BB-8 Toys Are Here to Play. "Tickle Me Elmo. Beanie Babies. Furby. If these words conjure up images of crowds of crazy people shoving each other aside for a chance to grab the last box of the season's hottest toy, then you should be fully prepared for the next entry on this list: Star Wars' newest droid, BB-8. We've gotten plenty of looks at the feature film version of the orange-and-white, free-rolling bot in all of the marketing for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but the biggest emergence of BB-8 might be on the horizon. Friday, September 4th – now known by the new international holiday of "Force Friday" – will see a variety of BB-8 toys coming to market, available to the teeming masses. While this shiny new droid likely means that R2-D2 merchandise will see a marked decrease in cost and priority display space (and C-3PO may be relegated to discount bins altogether), the BB-8 toys are merely a drop in the bucket of all the Star Wars swag that is on the way. However, this cute little roly-poly robot has already captured the eyes and imagination (and bank accounts) of children and adults alike. Let's take a look at some of the various BB-8 toys that are on the way…" See here link

From what I have seen in the trailers, BB-8 is all set to become the next Jar Jar Binks. Come to think of it, I am still waiting for my Jar Jar Binks head character backpack too. |

bsrlee do you have something against Jar Jar Binks? I'm getting sick and tired of you anti-Jar Jar Binks people and now you're picking on another character which you don't really know but from what you saw you're making claims that you can't back up yet. To me BB-8 might be a droid I can like since my most hated Star Wars character is that Gold plated Butler so who know. |

oh great… this again. But, back to the OP – seriously thinking of one of those toys to scare the dog.

I'll always favor R2D2, but that BB-8 robot toy is a clever bit of design. Of course, I'm more interested in the RC X-Wing drone! link |

Ghostrunner all I'm doing is defending Jar Jar Binks and if you don't like you don't have to respond. The last few months have been very bad for me starting with the Death of my Cat and all I'm doing is trying to keep from going crazy and this is one way do you have any objection to that? |
