I'm all for it. I got the day off.

It is officially, "The 70th anniversary of Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War Victory Commemoration Day", but is being promoted here as ‘Japan Surrender Day.'

The message is not just for Taiwan.

btw, who knew that Mao Ze Dong attended the Cairo conference just two years before he beat the Japanese?
