As a break from painting Frenchies, I've just finished off a command stand for a mate's Brunswickers, which I thought I'd share with you.
The Perry figures are painted to represent officers from the 1st Line and 2nd Light Regiments c.1815, and hopefully there aren't too many mistakes. More shots on the blog as usual.jannersjaunt.blogspot.dk/2015/09/black-brunswickers.html |

Beautiful work!!! I'm painting Brunswickers myself, in 15mm scale for AoE. The only thing I see that may be a discrepancy is the cuffs. All the source material that I have referenced indicates that the cuffs were black and embroidered in black (silver for Major and above). Granted, it does not mean that my sources are correct, but they are consistent. |

As field officers, I get away with giving them silver braid on the cuffs, but I have dropped a clanger on the red cuffs. |
