"At the 23rd International Defence Industry Exhibition and Conference in Kielce, Poland, the Cyprus-base armored vehicle manufacturer Lacenaire LTD disclosed two new versions of its Oncilla 4x4 multirole armored personnel carrier. The Oncilla APC is the result of a successful cooperation between Lacenaire, which developed the vehicle, and Polish company Mista, which is assembling the different parts. Announced a few months ago during IDET exhibition in Czech Republic, these two new variants are each showcasing crucial improvements. In addition to its particular camo, which seems to remind camouflage in use in some countries of the Middle East, the first variant is also equipped with heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system (HVAC) in the cabin crew. This could indicate an new Oncilla variant specially designed for "hot countries"…" Full article here link

'New variant designed for "hot countries"'…..as I recall Cyprus can get pretty hot……..and cold in the Troodos mountains. So probably just an improvement on the first variant……. |
