Heroscape: Road to the Forgotten Forest

It's a terrain expansion for Heroscape, but will non-Heroscape gamers be attracted by the trees?

Hi folks,

I made an AAR from a solo game I had yesterday (playtesting a scenario based on the Strike Back TV series).

Comments and questions are more than welcome of course.. ;)

Interesting. 12 turns, how long did it take you?

LOL – 4-5 hours.. ;)

BUT…. I had to spend some time assembling more of the terrain, fixing minor errors in my scenario and writing up the whole thing. Actual game time was probably 45-60 minutes in total.. Or even shorter.. ;)

Okay, I feel better now. :)

Haha Ed, no worries.. the only time the rules don't roll fast is when I have to look something up or am in doubt on how to implement a rule (either as written or changing it to match the current situation).

In general such insecurity only adds between 5-15 minutes to the overall game.. So quite often I think you should rename the company to 1 Hour Wargames – I don't think I have had a game last much longer than an hour.. ever.

There's another fellow with the name 1 Hour Wargames. Heard good stuff about it too.
Thanks for posting on the forum as well.
