Can you play your band against "the city" using created random event and encounter cards? Thanks.

Don't see why not.

That's an idea that could work although it would need some experimentation to get an event/encounter deck sorted. Nothing in the standard game has random magic events but I see no reason why residual magical forces couldn't be created.

It would take some work. It is definitely, at its core, a multi player game. We actually play with 4 to 5 players per game.

That said, there are some rules in place for creatures and such that do lend themselves to solo play, and it is an easy enough game to modify and house rule. It should be totally doable I would think, it would just take some work on your end.

Would it be easier if you used a dungeon crawl minion engine for the AI as enemies in solo games seem to operate better in confined gridded areas .
Perhaps urban house to house aswell but still keeping the bulk frostgrave flavour.

Download the latest, FREE, version of "Chain Reaction 2015" from Two Hour Wargames:

and follow the rules for solo play.

Might take some work to adjust them for Frostgrave but it should be relatively easy.
