I am looking for a company that can cast a limited run of three different masters of 28mm elephants(the body only, no head) in resin. Need to create the molds and then produce 24 to 30 originals of each figure.

Hi,

Smooth On has a list of companies that can make molds and do the work you are looking for.

Here is the list, and I see a company on the list that might be worth looking in to.

Depending on where you are located, you might be able to look at nearby states who might also be on the list.

I would recommend Valiant Enterprises in Madison Wisconsin. They do a lot of Resin Casting and do a lot of contract resin casting for companies you likely assume do their own internally (but don't).

I have worked with them myself and had great experiences.

I would want to have the casting service reasonably near by so that I could drive there, speak with them about the project and drive home in one day.

Nothing beats face time with your caster or mold maker.

Zoltar – Sent off the elephant to Valiant. Hoepfully get something back in two or three weeks. Seem very reasonably priced at $25.00 USD cost for the mold if I understood him correctly.
