Gents, As the owner of Siege Works Studios 28mm SYW Hanoverian range, available in Australia/USA here ( link ) or through Caliver Books in the UK/EU here ( link ) I am toying with the idea of launching a Kickstarter to expand the range. Who would be interested in such a kickstarter and what armies would you like to see represented? The Hanoverian range is very detailed and the other models would be of a similar quality as I have reliable sculptors, mold makers and my own spin-casting service so issues in pre-development and miniature production would not be an issue. I am very intersted in peoples comments and responses on this topic. Cheers in advance

Hi Drew,
I am a great fan of the figures (I love the guns and would be delighted to see some accompanying wagons etc.) but I fear that those of us still interested have a certain battle fatigue over the range – which of course is no fault of yours! I fear that we have seen great plans and grandiose schemes which came to naught over a period of years that may take quite a bit of effort to overcome to get people comfortable to back a kickstarter.

Thanks Chokidar, will note the accompanying points such as wagons. Yes I bought the range last year and the range has been on sale for a few years before that. It takes some time to get a range on track and I have only just got to the stage where I am am ready to promote and expand the range. I needed to secure reliable mold makers, sculptors and of course a reliable manufacturing outlet, all of which have now been done. I would not have ventured the proposal had I not been ready. I am making no plans for the range until I see how much interest there is first :) Always good to hear your views and I understand you did a lot on the research and primary input when it was first being created, before my time. For that I am very thankful becasue the range as it stands is very lovely and your contributions even before my time are inherited by me and that is a wonderful thing to have :) Cheers
