Or for your Elves, Post-Apocalyptic Survivors, as exotic hovercraft, etc…. Just found this drawing, in case anyone needs a little inspiration to make or convert their own.
link I guess they could be used to make ice sailing craft too. Dan PS. Here are some other ideas I had posted in the not too distant past: TMP link TMP link TMP link |

Yes, get those creative juices flowing! Now, this is a beauty:
linkIt's a hydrofoil trimaran!
It almost looks like one of the "water strider" insects:

First off, welcome back.
The image is from the Ergo Proxy anime. It's your basic "Post-apocalyptic domed cities man-vs-machine" show, with a plethora of good ideas in it; yet I never completely warmed up to it. YMMV. Ron |

Dan, you crazed monkey! Ship poster is inspiring; find the not-Firefly. I really love the first image of the The Birostis! Now, imagine sails below in a slightly different direction, and the ship running the transition layer between air currents. I really think it's more sensible than the 'float up, glide down, rinse, repeat' I've seen elsewhere. @Coelacanth That image has some feeling of parts of Golden Compass, for which I also had some mixed feelings, though on the whole, to which I did warm up. I'll have to look up Ergo Proxy, especially if on Netflix. I can mute the TV, and just re-run the images I like. ;->= Doug Edit: I quite like the image of his contrast 'junk' ships. link For Orcs? Hummies? Post-apocalyptic have nots? Plenty exotic! |
