So, I am trying to get my hands on a space map with hexes in the United States. I can't seem to find a manufacturer or shop that sells one. The only one I know of is Corsec Engineering, but I haven't received any email responses from him in ages, so don't know whether he is still selling. Any other recommendations? |

Monday Knight out of Washington has some: link I have had good dealings with them in the past. |

Chessex used to make a black mat, with 1" white hexes. A gray template would have been better in my opinion, but that should work, if you can find one. |

I bought one from Corsec 3 months ago, it came in the mail just a couple of days after I placed the order and I had no issues. |

Check out the second post in this thread for a free space hex map file you can have printed as a vinyl banner and a suggestion for a company that I have used for the printing with great success: TMP link |

I have these for sale – standard MKP hex map with two compass rosettes for A-F and 000-330 orientation, over a nice space nebula. link |

Don't know if they do a space mat but I believe Cigar Box Battlemats can print mats with a variety of different hex sizes. |

What I'd like to do is to figure out how to superimpose a hex grid over a nice big NASA photo, then get that printed from a sign shop on vinyl or canvas. |

@Lion in the Stars Given the correct software, that wouldn't be too hard. I'd recommend a vector based program like Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw to get nice sharp vector gridlines. |

@LitS Have you looked at Wargame Vault? I know there are several there. I thought CorSec's on there had hexes, but not seeing it as an option in the description. Here's one that does: link That uses relatively small squares you'd have to 'paste' together. I'm sure there are others, but I'm off to bed. Doug |

Corsec does hubnle photos with hexes in whatever size you want. Last i looked at the site there was a tab for hex over lays (squares too). Turn around after placing an order is fairly quick |

'Look for the twisties…' *facepalm* I KNEW I'd seen hexes on Jonathan's 'stuff'. Good catch, Jim! Doug |
