If they are 1/144 that is close to 10mm. You should browse both Reaper CAV infantry and Dropzone Commander infantry. Both are 10mm so would offer the best chance to find something suitable.
I forgot to mention Pendraken also do a range of 10mm Sci-Fi infantry, so you might look at those as well. And the old Mechwarrior clicky game was also 10mm so their infantry might be suitable.

Are these the tanks? link

Made by B-Club, looks like they're all discontinued… And I see 1/144 scale Gamiras dive bombers!!!

HLJ says that B-Club did make a 1/144 scale Zeon CUI. hlj.com/product/BCL2424/Gun

I will see what develops as I collect those 1/1000 scale Yamato 2199 kits. The yen-dollar exchange rate is quite nice right now.

Brian,

that plastic Garmillas tank in the ship set *is* *officially* 1/144 scale, just FYI….

KK, the really good news is that the lil beastie is just big enough to work as a two seater tank for 15mm. Nasty lil cuss. evil grin

I'm still holding out for a Mecha Colle Garmillas fighter so I can really go to town with my Yamato 2199 conversion article for Silent Death:The Next Millennium…

BTW, what rules will you be using for your 1/1000 scale space combat?

If there is anything Starblazers has taught us is that any tank can look high tech and sci-fi if you put a fin on it's back or turret.

I'll have to try this with some 1/144 scale modern tanks.
