It's not just The Last Conformist. When I saw the image I thought "Mowgli" rather than "Tarzan." This figure does remind me of The Jungle Book. |

Tarzan used metal tipped spears he took from natives, and his English father's hunting knife. This guy is too primitive. (Okay sculpt, though). |

I've never seen any of the filmed versions of The Jungle Book, but after reading The Jungle Book and The Second Jungle book, I had the impression that he was never older than in his mid teens in any of the stories that start when he is a baby. This mini looks like he's in his late teens to early 20's, and still reminds me of Korak from the pulp magazine stories. |
