I am gradually posting my "vintage" Ancient armies to the blog. The recent tragic events in Palmyra moved that army to the top of the queque for posting; at the rate things are going Wargames figures may be all that is left of this great city, which once had an (estimated) population of over 200,000 people.
Many more pictures and a brief overview of the history of the City on my blog at: link Definitely "old school" Minifigs, that I painted back in the late 1970's, but still perfectly adequate for wargames. Hopefully they'll make it onto the table for a game or two of Top the Strongest this Fall. Peter |

Very nice Oldschool Gonsalvo, love your terrain too, and may the ghost of Palmyraian Empire take vengeance on the philistines who caused such desecrations. Nice to see the od stuff taken such care of (unlike the leadership of today me thinks) Are these set for Piquet's ancient supplement or the FOB variant? Cheers |

Thanks! Could be used for either (Archon 2nd edition, or Pulse of Battle), but for the past 35 years they've mostly been used for my own gridded rules, Legio Quaternarius: link I am looking forward to trying To the Strongest soon, and the army would work well with that, too. |
