Gringo40 sold his first Lithuanian Tatars of the Imperial Guard in 28 mm. (There were not from the Imperial Guard… but the idea is cool)

Very small numbers involved. A squadron or so, but every reference I can find says very much they were part of La Garde……….great idea for a novel release. Obviously an officer and trumpeter would be welcome, but I can imagine commercially hard to justify (how many would you sell to recoup your investment………?) and conversions not too difficult. |

Cosaques de Poniatowski?… By memory they have been in Vilna… and then they desapear… don't remember them in the 1813 campaing under the Command of Poniatowski who have a whole Corp of Polish under his orders… maybe a little Squadron of them remain with him?. Even that… to be part of the Imperial Guard… (smile) Amicalement Armand |

Ah ha….to quote from Master and Commander…"I have you now". I think you are confusing these folk with the Polish Krakus………subtle difference. Roughly from the same place, but different rig and history. These folk ended their days as Eclaireurs |
