Plastic Soldier Company Panzer IV built straight out the box but with an after market barrel added.

Gone for the look of a well used old soldier!

Why the aftermarket barrel?

PiersBrand28 Aug 2015 6:51 p.m. PST

Why not?

Is the commander from the additional storage spruce?

Captain Cook28 Aug 2015 10:45 p.m. PST

Superb finish.

The commander looks like an AB figure to me.

Lovely stuff Piers, like that mottled green camo, can be tricky to do.
The gun on the kit is a little 'heavy' Bill so a replacement looks better or you have to do a fair bit of work the thin the kits gun down a bit.

Piers, don't be like that. We are all intereated, so it helps ua to decide what works and why.

Me, i am morebinterested in the colouts used, as my tanks look a lot more yellow than yours – have you sprayed a green over it all?

Frederick Supporting Member of TMP29 Aug 2015 7:19 a.m. PST

You have succeeded brilliantly – great looking tank!

donlowry29 Aug 2015 7:42 a.m. PST

The Panzer IV was a remarkable tank, really, soldiering on through the whole war, from 1939 to 1945, and still reasonably effective even then. Can't think of any other tank that could match that record.

Your painting is, as usual, inspiring. Is this the H model or the J?

Very, very impressive…again.

Nice job again. Really well done.
