I am looking for some good peasants (I know, peasants are revolting) that will match my Games Workshop Bretonnians. What company will work?? |

By "peasants" do you mean the men-at-arms? The Bretonnian figures are hardly equipped as medieval/historical "peasants" so you should be looking for HYW infantry, particularly with pavises, to match them. |

Examples here:
Peasants on the right, men-at-arms on the left. |

Jim….the ones on the right are what I am looking for. In fact, if they were 28mm, they would be perfect for what I want. I see that foundry has some in the there lines but I am wondering how they would compare with the 'beefy' GW figures. But then again, maybe more diminutive peasants would be good since they don't eat as well as the king's men! I had a mountain of 'men-at-arms' in the basement where they languished for more than a decade until Kings of War came along. Now they are on the paint desk. |

ACW Gamer; Send me a post as I have a bit of stock remaining from my line of Body Count Miniatures which feature unarmed peasants which will work nicely. I can send you pictures as well. They were sculpted by Hermann Grassnick who use to sculpt a lot of figures for Mega Minis. The pictures are painted samples when Mega Minis bought our line of figures and molds. Alas, Johnny Lauck has since closed shop. battlefield_designs {at} rogers {dot} com Just post the e-mail as TMP Medieval Peasants. Regards, Hitman |

Yes, with oodles of variety, Black cavalier – and you can get even more by mixing in figures from the OG HYW Jacquerie pack (the Jacquerie was a major peasant rebellion in 14th century France). |
