Just a quick recommendation for Dan Carlin's podcast and his Blueprint for Armageddon series. For anyone with an interest in the First World War, have a listen. You'll find it under Dan Carlin's Hardcore History on any podcatcher. Its a monumental effort over 6 separate podcasts and must come in at over 18 hours of listening. Great to have on whilst painting. link |

I heartily endorse anything Dan Carlin does. You may or may not agree with his interpretations, but his delivery is amazing and thought provoking. |

I listened to the whole thing as it came out. Great report and good painting entertainment. I like Dan Carlin's podcasts. |

My favorite of his is still "death throes of the republic" the guy produces what are basically free audio books ever few months. Plus I think he is a board Wargames, as he has referred to earning victory points in previous episodes. |
