All,
Does anyone recall a set of rules from maybe 8 – 10 years ago called Bush Wars? It was a free set, and gave a pretty good game. I went looking for my copy with no luck. I'd love to find a copy again. I thought Sam Mustafa may have written it, but not sure.

Right, these were a free set, maybe 15 – 20 pages.

Wasn't it «Ambush» by Jerboa?

A set for wars in Africa and other underdeveloped countries?

I immediately thought of / confused with ; "Fireforce"

…a simple-as generic set of COIN rules developed from Martin Goddards' "Men of Company B" RFCM (from Peter Pig).

Try here, for various free rules options, including Dogs of War:

Nope, I just looked at Ambush, not it. These rules had an interesting mechanism for hidden movement using playing cards.

I a 99% certain the rules were called "Bush Wars".

Andoreth27 Aug 2015 7:52 a.m. PST

They were called Bushwar, all one word, and were by Sam Scott. I have a copy somewhere if you can't find them online now.

Nick, I checked all of the copies of rules that you made for me in the past, but no luck with Bush Wars.

Andoreth, that's it! I'll keep looking.

JPKelly27 Aug 2015 9:32 a.m. PST

Andoreth and JPKelly, if either of you would be willing to photocopy the rules for me and mail them to me, I'd be happy to pay for printing cost and postage.

They are a digital set so it is easy.

nnascati Supporting Member of TMP27 Aug 2015 11:21 a.m. PST

Okay then, if you are willing just send it to my email. Let me know if you want any compnesation.

Andoreth27 Aug 2015 11:58 a.m. PST

Happy to but probably easier if JPKelly sends it to you since as a TMP member he can PM it through this site. Were you looking for the scenarios as well?
