Does anyone knows any good books about the medieval Warfare in the German lands? I'm interested in both the imperial campaigns in North italy and in the conflicts between the princes and States of the Empire. Books in english would be nice, but I can deal with otger languages.

Good place to start would be Osprey MAA German Medieval Armies 1000-1300AD and German Medieval Armies 1300-1500AD.

Although somewhat dated and some of his conclusions have been overcome by more recent historiography, Charles Oman's History of the Art of War in the Middle Ages should be a good introduction. link

Also Hans Delbruck's History of the Art of War, Volume III: Medieval Warfare is another broad overview. link

I'm sure I'll get many comments about how dated and "unreliable" these two authors are, but bearing that they originally wrote their tomes in the late 1800s and early 1900s, these will give you a decent overview of the period.
