I am working on a conversion kit for the amercom/altaya m41 bulldog to make the Danish version.
I know it was fitted with the german mg3 on the turret but have only found 1 pic of it and it is not clear where the mount goes.
a few google searches have found very few pics of them fitted.
my questions are :-
was it a common fitment?
and
does anyone have any good pics of where it goes and the mount details?
thanks in advance
shaun

There's a couple of recent threads on this. Are you doing the basic Danish M41 (used until late 1980s)? Or the modernised M41 DK1 (used from the late 80s)?

Here's an unmodified Danish M41 with a .50 (circa 1970s):

NB The M41 DK1 upgrade deleted the .50 and replaced it with MG3.

After much searching, I've found one (bad) photo of the MG3 mount on the M41 DK1:

The mount looks very similar to the ring-mount used on West German vehicles such as SPz Luchs and Kanonenjagdpanzer.

Based on the multitude of photos without it I really wouldn't bother to be honest.

Indeed.

Ah, I see I'm not the only one planning to field Danes, and to give them those lovely little M41 tanks.

They are beauties.

Let the amphibious invasions begin…….
