The isles of Greece, the Isles of Greece!
Where burning Sappho loved and sung,
Where grew the arts of war and peace,
Where Delos rose, and Phoebus sprung!
Eternal summer gilds them yet,
But all, except their sun, is set.

Lord Byron, Don Juan, Canto III

Thanks, Armand. Bookmarked for possible purchase.

That is a very nice looking structure. It would make an excellent edifice for DBA three. I will get one to use it as a camp.

Nice overall effect, but the columns and the circular elements of the capitals were actually wood (the circles were the ends of logs), and the Minoans didn't build semi-circular peristyles. On the other hand, maybe it was only recently ruined, so the wood survived. :)
