I found an apartment and have to start the new job in Dallas on September 2. I am going to try to depart Charlotte today after I have the moving trailer packed. One of the last items to be packed will be the computer so I wanted to say I will be offline for a couple of days unless I manage to check in using my phone. It is a new chapter in my life and a new adventure. Texas, here I come. Looking forward to meeting the war gaming community in the area. |

I always heard it was written, "Gone to Texas". :) I have family spread out all over Texas. Seems that jobs and the economy have drawn more and more of my immediate and extended family thither…. |

Well, we're at Vicksburg tonight and Kim is asleep snoring in the next bed. We still have about six hours to go. This is a horrendous drive but I'm sure glad I didn't let him do it by himself! |
