Doug from em4 miniatures has launched a new site exclusively for metal minis: here you can find all of his ongoing re-castings of theclassic Spacelords sci fi range, plus the Copplestone sculpted Future Skirmish, the Lovecraftian Dunwich Detectives range, the previously unreleased pulp Investigators range, and more.

Kudos to Doug for bringing out more Spacelords…and now we have a proper website to buy 'em on!
Doug posted the site launch on TMP news, but these things drop off so fast I thought it deserved a bit more attention. Besides my faves, the Spacelords, it's well worth checking out the Investigator range for a great source of civilians and pulp-era characters.

Well done Doug: just what they needed!

Thanks for the support, chaps – I'm planning on making some more Spacelords codes as soon as possible and maybe expanding some of the other ranges as well.

Looks like he's had a re-stock too, all the not "terminators" are back in stock!

Cheers Roger.

Nice stuff for sure, I want some Phagons and some pulp figures. If I was in England next year, perhaps in the fall, where might I find some of these stocked?

Sergeant Paper23 Aug 2015 1:43 p.m. PST

Hmmm… we'll be picking up and dropping off a car in Bath, and Moonraker Minis doesn't look too far away.

Everything is in stock because supply is direct from the workshop. If a figure is not on hand, I just cast it up…!

Doug, what about the old Spaceords Alien C3751a Swamp Strangler:

I'd buy a dozen of those if they were available again.

28mm I'm guessing?

Yes indeed, all classic 28mm scale!

Doug, I second jpattern2's call for the Spacelords aliens – as always, the man has taste!

The aliens set and the Phagon Battle Beasts are excellent figures, and useful for sci-fi, horror and fantasy settings…if you release these, I will buy several sets of each!!!

classic 28mm? Are these compatible with the old GZG 25mm figures?

TwinMirror25 Aug 2015 10:44 a.m. PST

Well, they are a little larger but I use them with GZG 25's: Spacelords are 'classic' 28s belonging to that initial phase of scale creep in the late 80's, so they match up exactly in height to Citadel figures of the same period, such as early 40K, and ranges such as the Ion Age and Vor; they are a hair's breadth shorter than Copplestone or Void/Kryomek. They sit in the middle range of my collection, and I mix and match with the above mentioned ranges, plus slightly smaller 25mm ones such as GZG and Denizen sci fi.Some variation in human size looks more realistic, I think.
Hope that helps, Lion!
