Which CSA units are more likely to have smoothbores, units who have been in the field sometime, and not had a chance to swap, or fresh raised units, because the good stuff has been shipped already?

GREEN UNITS. Units that formed 1861 and 1862. There were still units in 1863 that had Smoothbores, but few. By 1864 nearly all troops has Rifles. In 1865 many union troops had Breechloaders and repeaters

Thanks. I thought it probably was. The thing about fictional OOB's is you can put what you like in to make it interesting – Looks like the 'Lone Star Brigade' – 1st 2nd 4th and 5th Austin, and 1st Dallas were the last unit to march with smoothbores! wink grin
