Started with part 3 of the terrain, after already fighting 3 times on the ready terrain. The first element of 3 is the area between the railway Arnhem- Nijmegen near Station oosterbeek Laag and the Arnhem museum (Onderlangs/ utrechtseweg)
The outline of the roads and elevations are basic ready.
The Elisabeth gasthuis is prepared in a 3D design program and the front is ready to be test printed by 3D-Design2Print.nl
First test is printed |

Brilliant! We're very excited about our trip to Arnhem for the big game on 2 January! Will you be able to arrange a model of the Rhine Pavilion which is where we'll be playing? I had hoped to have one for August, but could n't get anyone to do it in time. |

Another small update about the small, but distinctive parts of the Gasthuis. Tonight we are printing to see how they turn out. Fingers crossed |

I saw two 3D printers at the Smithsonian Institute, Exhibits Central. Were they build their exhibits. Fantastic technology. Someday everyone will have one of these and it is bound to have a huge impact on our hobby. |

Potentially disastrous for figure and model manufacturers I suppose. |

Just confirmed the conference room at the hotel; the cost is 100 Euros, so is everyone else prepared to chip in a contribution toward that? Also, we can have unlimited tea/coffee for a few Euros each – the machine is just outside the room -if anyone is interested. |

Excellent! Between us we must have pretty much all the kit that we require. Pat's got at least enough German infantry for two battalion plus a couple of Stugs and other odds and ends and she also has quite a few British carriers, a bundle of Shermans and a couple of armoured cars. |

Just a day building (me) and modelling/ printing (Saïma 3d-design2print): the Elizabeth Gasthuis in progress. The terrain part had to be build all over again to fit the building. Yes, there are some building missing on the terrain in the areas of Lombok and Klingelbeek. There will be a small row of houses at the Utrechtseweg, the station, the jail, and some higher houses at Lombok around the Oranjestraat..that will be it. The new part, not visible yet, has to be ready before Crisis…i hope. link
