Welcome To The Jungle Pt2 – Valley Of The Mon-Keigh Full Post: link Intruders have entered the sacred valley of the Mon-Keigh. These beasts are Dire Apes and they will not tolerate any trespassers into their territory. They tend to attack in waves of 34. Why 34? Because thats how many of these guys I bought! Found a good deal and got them for 50 cents a piece. I didnt paint anything on them, this is how they already are. Eerie arent they? The red eyes and inscrutable expressions… Are they friendly… or hungry? Who knows. Caesar: [to Maurice in sign language and breaking and bundling sticks] Ape alone… weak. Apes together… strong. Very clever and cool! I need me some apes …I don't know for what ,but they are to cool not to have , Great table.

Parts 4 & 5 are now up on the blog to finish the battle report. jurgenation, Yeah, I really had no plan to buy apes, just saw them and had to purchase them.

OK where did you get the apes? I want some. And what a creative and wonderful looking game. Love the old school figures. Are you using home rules or something published?

kallman, I got them from Tapir and Friends Animal Store, but they are sold out… because some greedy bloke bought all 34 they had in stock. So sorry! OH and I am using the Warhammer 1st edition white box.
