Are you satisfied with the terrain choices that you have in the miniatures marketplace today? (1) Yes, there is more than enough to choose from. (2) No, there are items missing that I'd like to see. Please specify: (a) trees (b) foliage (crops, bushes, etc.) (c) ground cover (flocking, ballast, gravel, etc.) (d) hills (e) rivers/streams (f) buildings (g) walls (h) bridges (i) game mats (j) ______________________ Feel free to detail what is missing from the marketplace that you'd like to see. If price is an issue, make that known as well. |

It depends on what scale you are talking about. Some have lots and some not nearly enough. |

There are very few buildings available for 28 mm AWI skirmishing. But really. There are never "enough" choices of anything. |

There needs to be more buildings in 28mm scale for FIW/AWI/ACW. |

Reliable game mat manufacturers seem to be a constant problem on TMP over the last 10 years. 25/28mm AWI buildings are also at a minimum. |

25/28mm buildings. Especially still Victorian London. There are options but they are unsatisfactory. And are there enough tall walls for Mediterranean locales? I bought some from a brand that no longer exists. Name escapes me but I've never seen competition in this space. Plaster sided, tile topped. |

Still not enough "moodern" buildings, there's only so far ww2 terrain can stretch into modern times. |

I pretty much scratchbuild all my terrain, so it's kinda machts nichts for me. |

DWilliams, I notice that you pose some interesting questions as poll suggestions rather than as normal discussions. I'd suggest that it might be more useful to have people simply answer in sentences and paragraphs rather than the arid '2 G'. I see from the posts following your own that respondents have taken that course of action already. There's really no point at all in answering '1'. |

f) particularly modern european (read German) buildings. Not just houses/farms, but light industrial, garages, shopping centres, municipal buildings – that sort of thing. Oh, and in 6mm scale. Something for a Soviet OMG to storm past on the way to the Channel. |

I miss the styrofoam castles and other building sets Craig Lechner used to sell. I have three models he made for me and still think they're great. The first was a 15mm square castle I purchased from Craig at a Historicon up in Camp Hills. The second was a nifty 28mm castle he made for my Army of Darkness game. The third was a large 15mm French Foreign Legion fort with enough room for a hundred or more defenders. |

Need more buildings for the American Revolution in 28/25mm. There is not enough variety to do something like Trenton. There are drawings, paintings and descriptions of the buildings that were in the town for a manufacturer to do them accurately. You could then use them for just about every town in the war. |

Trees, always need more trees |

Especially big trees at a reasonable price. |
