I've been looking around the Net for some 15mm or so in height plastic figures for Klingons and Feds.

I thought they might work well for my Full Thrust games, especially if I ever get that Deep Space Nine assault finished. They would look a lot nicer than poker chips, etc.

Anyone ever see such a thing? I don't think I want to go to the expense and trouble to put together and paint 15mm metal miniatures, but if there are plastic ones that will serve… :)

As far as pre-painted plastics in the 15mm range, you are very limited. I think it would only be Micro Machine Mini Playsets.

But expense is way more than metal.

Doesn't look too promising. Anything smaller available?

Smaller? Even at 15mm, it's tough to see the forehead ridges…

I think Bandai makes 1/100 and 1/144 scale crew sets for their Gundam series. I know they make 1/100 crew, I have two sets.

1/350 scale Naval crew sets? Don't get carrier flight deck crew unless you're trying to make armored marines or something.

Hmm… I had been trying to find something to represent defending Fed Marines and attacking Klingons, but this sounds like it's going to be more challenging than I expected.

I've seen where some have used GZG's SG15-V1 – Civilians/colonists pack A for standard Starfleet personnel. By marines, do you mean FASA-style golf-ball heads? I thought GZG had some that'd work, as well.

Sorry, have been picking up used(painted) sets of stuff, but not trolling stores much, yet.

At 15/18, I thought you could get by with mostly painting details on standard humans for Klinks, if you can find some baldies, or partials.
