How difficult can it be to find a railway line and a tunnel? Cannot see this story being true. |

I agree with the above. How can a train go missing for all this time? The wagons would have rotten away long ago with them likely to be made of wood. This almost sounds as far fetched as the UK Railway steam enthusiast rumour of some years ago, of some steam freight engines being buried during the Cold War. In the event of a near apocalypse they were to be dug up and reactivated for service. |

Well, the train would only have rotted if it was subject to moisture and we don't know if the alleged tunnel;s were dry or not. As far as burying a machine to be dug up and used later, I watched a film of Soviets unearthing a WW II era tank from a bog and they had it working and drivable with a few parts and 4-5 hours of work so I have absolutely no problem believing that. But we will see if the story is true or not as it unfolds. |

Here in NE Ohio, Cleveland, I have seen some extremely old trains sit out in the open for years in this weather (humid summers, brutal winters)without too much damage, so I think quite possible…. |

There was a video of a ww2 tank pulled from a lake on YouTube which was dried out new fuel added and it started .Check it out . |
