No updates or new models since March. No response to emails. Seems like ever since the new website was put up it all came to a screaching halt. There were promises of all kinds of winter infantry and WWI stuff. Any info?

They had a stall at Joy of Six in Sheffield in July

Yes they are, in a nice little farm building with SHQ, lovely cup of tea!

I've had an order from them recently, and expecting them to post another today. Service is a bit slower than I'm used to, but I think they sometimes cast to order.

They were extremely busy before and after Joy of Six, and I think there might have been some staff illness/holidays too.

OK, I wonder why there have been no new updates or releases.

Just because a company doesn't produce an new updates or releases doesn't mean they have ceased trading!

MajorB- No response to emails is rather different. I am having similar problems with Rapier after placing an order.

Anyone tried phoning them…? just a thought.

Well, it is August.

Doesn't everyone in Europe shut down in August for vacation, or is that just a myth?

jambo117 Aug 2015 9:40 a.m. PST

Dealt with them a couple of months ago and it was an easy transaction and delivered very quickly.

@Mako11,
not quite, the French are famous for it (closing down in August) , the Brits are a bit more flexible, or used to be until the government started fining people for taking their kids out of school in term time for holidays.
My pal spoke to H&R by phone last week and says everything is fine, if a little slow.

No we not shut down or on holiday.
The have been no release since the web site went live as we have been very busy just keeping up with all the extra orders.

Have lots of new models in the pipeline and hope to add a new mould maker to the team which will allow the new models to come back regularly.
I was ill after the joy of 6 and yes we have some holidays but we have cleared all the back orders and I thought all the emails.

@H&R,

I'm actually really chuffed to see you in business. Only recently, I was reminiscing over the great epic games of the past we had using my H&R 6mm Colonials, and wondering why I never carried on building up my forces.

So two questions:
1: Do you have much Colonial British and Opponents in stock at the moment (mainly Mahdist for now, but Zulus for later)?
2: If I had some pictures available, could you use them in your Galleries?
