I had a great time today fighting a battle using Regimental Fire and Fury rules with three of my terrific wargaming disciples. We got through 11 turns in a little over five hours of actual gaming time. For more pictures and an account of the battle please visit my blog:

Fantastic blog too! I have always been fascinated by Chickamauga as I must confess a soft spot for the perennially unlucky Army of Tennessee and this battle represented its one major battlefield success. Almost twenty years ago I went with friends to walk the fields and climb the hills of Chickamauga. You can never fully appreciate a battle until you have walked it.

I walked Brock's Field and made the difficult ascent of Snodgrass Hill, an action I have yet to game.
