Here's a recent scratchbuild: 1/2500 scale Romulan D'deridex warbird. Total length = 21", 756 balsa parts. Enjoy!

Wow, pretty amazing!

A bit bigger than 1/2500th scale I suspect.

More like 1/250th?

No, 1/2500. 1/2500 is a popular modelling scale, though large to game in.

The DDD is variously reported as 1250 – 1365 meters in length.

Using the larger measurement, (1365*39)/2500 = ~21 inches.

It is a huge ship in any scale.

By comparison, CV-65 Enterprise is/was ~328 meters long, or ~5" in the same scale.

Beautiful!

Hmmmm, I thought my little ones were 1/2500th.

Didn't realize that ship is so big.

If you mean the ADB Starline 2500 ships, those are 1/3788, which is considerably smaller. If you mean the Mongoose ships, those are 1/3125.

Here is an old discussion:

What are you talking about? Isn't 'Scrach' German for something like 'talent only in your dreams, bi-otch?'

Leland, you warned me, but that…

Even for patio gaming. Not to mention stands…

About right for park gaming, though.

Have the park, have the dowels and lawn sprinkler spikes, have the de-gripped water-pistols-as-ships. Now, if I could just get the gumption…

As for the last post…?

Show off. ;->=
