What rpg's/rules would you like as a movie or 23+ show TV series? Space:1889 Cthulhu Traveller GZG's Full Thrust Universe Empire of the Petal Throne(Tekumel) Battletech universe for a start |

I have never seem a movie or tv show based on a game that did not suck. |

In general I would agree with you Winston. But there was a Cthulhu movie that came out a few years ago that was filmed in the style of a 1920s silent movie. It was fairly enjoyable. Also there is the 2009 movie, the Last Lovecraft, which is actually a comedy. It was pretty good as well. Kevin |

But Kevin, those were based on the stories, not the game. Winston is right. The studio people just can't seem to take a game seriously enough to produce a good movie. |

Traveller made a good TV series in Firefly :) |

If it turned out good, Traveller or Runequest (though the latter is hard to make into an easily explainable movie). Maybe Godlike? WW2 "gritty" super heroes sounds like it'd go well as a show or movie right now. |

Doesn't have to be a movie-23 episode Twilight's Peak/trav? Car Wars Ogre Twilight Imperium Twilight 2000 or Morrow Project Pick your favorite, outline the story and cast it Car Wars-story:pizza delivery-cast: Jason Statham & Maggie Q With Car Wars you only need a reason, not a story. See how easy it is? |
