If you haven't seen these figures yet, you're really missing out. They're inredible and the friendly service received is good. I was sceptical at first. After all, who would make wargames figures out of MDF? I couldn't get my head round it. Then I visited the website and was converted, and since seeing the figures "in the flesh" at a wargames shoe, and having bought and painted some myself, I'm definately a convert. the website is commission-figurines.co.uk. Well worth a visit Davejl |

I had the pleasure to "beta" these figures for Walt at commission. They are the fast way to big battle napoleonics. They are wargamer standard low detail , high durability and mix well with metal figures from baccus and Adler. I am now the proud owner of a large collection of these figures that you can see examples and battle shots of on my blog at link with a particularly nice pic at link I find myself in complete agreement with Davejl once you see them on the table its hard to resist They are VERY cheap and Walt is a real nice guy very open to new suggestions and ideas. |

I have also recently invested in a Prussian force from commission figs and they are fantastic! Please buy Walt's stuff so he will continue to expand this wonderfully brilliant line of minis (landwehr pretty please!) |

markady – Walt has done Prussian Landwehr – he had some beautifully painted ones on show the other day. Actually they looked stunning. He needs lots of them for our demo game! |

Could you please provide some more details? How many figures per stand? How long is each stand? Thanks, dale |

@daleWiII examples of the bare strips can be seen at link The infantry come in a forward facing strip of 8 figures at approx 40mm. The cavalry come in sideway facing strips of 3 cavalry as shown in the photos I base the infantry as shown in the pics using 40mmx20mm rectangular bases onto which I fit 3 ranks of 7 figures. The cavalry I mount on 40x 40 bases 2 ranks deep by 6 wide. 7 may be better but My lead figures are 6 wide so I made my decision and must stick with it now. If you browse the blog there are lots of examples to give you an idea of techniques and why we made decisions I hope this helps! |

I base my infantry 4 across and 2 deep on 1" square bases so I can have 2X2 or 3X3 or whatever on magnetized sabots. Cavalry I base 3 across on the same 1" square bases. I have only painted a couple of units up so far…I am a slow and bad painter but I will post some pics on my here and on my blog after I have a respectable sized force done. Lord Elpass, that is good to know about the landwehr, I just emailed Walt getting ready for my next order, so hopefully I can just about finish my Prussian force. BTW to add to Davejl's comments, Artillery is a particularly good buy… I plan on filling out much of my French and British metal forces that are sorely lacking in the artillery support. |
