I recently read some reviews of this miniatures boardgame. Looks very promising and could be used with a hex tabletop. I noticed the figures are individually based in clumps of about 4 per hex, is that necessary for the rules? Are casualties removed individually? Any info on the specifics and mechanics of unit size, scale, basing and casualty removal would be appreciated.

Assuming the rules are similar to the other C&C series games then yes.

Are casualties removed individually?

As above, yes.

We just use bases of figures for the various CnC games and record hits on them (or remove bases or whatever).

Play them on Hexon terrain.

Yes, casualties are removed individually. But you could easily just use some kind of hit marker or a die to show how many hits a unit had taken. Units remain at full effectiveness until eliminated.

I wonder if rules and game cards will be available on their own?
