I'm looking for a cheap source of AK-47s and hollow Soviet-style helmets that are loose, not connected to any figure. Preferably AK with bayonets, but it's not vital. I'm not as picky on the scale because my intention with them is to create casualty markers with spare bases and the vertical rifle with the helmet on top that's so common in old war movies. If there's a good source of WW2 Russian rifles instead, that would be fine too, as I'm not absolutely set on it being AKs. The hollow helmet is simply so it can fit over the rifle butt, though I suppose I could carve out a solid one if it was the most economical option. I'm working on forces for AK-47 Republic, which uses the number of nearby casualty markers as part of their morale calculations, and I'm not all that keen on painting up tiny corpses so I thought this might be a usable alternative. |
