Haven't done this in a while. Here's mine.

picture

Being worked on:

  • 15mm Ancient Rus DBA Army
  • Four Khurasan ancient cavalry just for fun
  • Pak40s for my Flames of War game this fall
  • Space ships from Studio Bergstrom
  • Putting the basing on my DBA3.0 Viking Army (need more steel bases to finish it)
  • Two VSF vehicles for Martian Empires
  • Completed: 4 x German AA Guns, again for FoW (just need to be put away)

So, what's on your table?

Coyotepunc and Hatshepsuut13 Aug 2015 4:08 p.m. PST

I don't have a permanent painting area. My paints and tools live in the linen closet, my WIP live in shoebox lids under the bed.

Yesthatphil13 Aug 2015 4:53 p.m. PST

Hahaha … OK I'll play …

This is creative chaos …

(some PBI stuff going on plus some Ren. Gendarmes … tanks, guns, terrain … wink)

Henry Martini13 Aug 2015 5:04 p.m. PST

How do you paint those figures already based?

D6 Junkie13 Aug 2015 5:18 p.m. PST

15mm galleys and crews, 25mm pirate ships under construction, 15mm Stuarts for my Russians

I always paint with a view to the final composition so only glue on painting sticks when absolutely necessary …

3 figure cavalry stands I usually keep on the base but the middle one loose wink

But something like 10mm close order foot just have to go on sticks (they are too small and too many otherwise) …

Some sights are not meant to be seen.

Since you asked:

I think there isn't anything on it that was there the last time we did this. Bonus points if anyone can identify all the figures. 😆

The warren miniature painting table.

Current projects shows two Foundry Prussian landwehr regiments (3 battalions of 8 miniatures each). Some additional spare landwehr miniatures, a horse and donkey train team with vinandiere (Warlord miniature). The box upper left has some 1806 Saxon horse awaiting their rapidograph black lining work.

Second photo has the painting table, bookcase with other miniature projects, and the library room through the doorway.

I am fortunate to have this as a dedicated work station, even if it looks like hell. It suits me just fine.

skinkmasterreturns14 Aug 2015 5:46 a.m. PST

Take YesthatPhils station, pile about 10 pounds of more crap on it and that's what mine looks like.

Yesthatphils picture gave me hope, mine looks like that just ad about 10 half used hard plastic spures.

Vilmonn14 Aug 2015 8:21 a.m. PST

Happily, I was able to grab a room in my house and dedicate it to painting.

Kevin,

Is that level of organization legal? Mine looks like Yesthatphil's after I spend several hours cleaning it.

Sanford and Son were my heroes.

Vilmonn14 Aug 2015 11:09 a.m. PST

Big Red,

Oooo, well, then you'll like these shots as well…

Villmon,

That is too organized, but I like it :-)

And I thought I had too many paints.

I can never figure out to let the picture display here

@45th:

To share a photo when you use Flickr you click that little "share" arrow. In the pop up menu select HTML Embed and copy that URL.

Paste the URL in your message on TMP. Then, delete all the code. That is, look in the middle of the long string of junk it gives you. You want to post ONLY the part starting with https and ending with .jpg

Delete everything else, including the quote marks just before the https and just after the .jpg

Hit submit and your photo should show up in the message on TMP

45thdiv14 Aug 2015 5:59 p.m. PST

well, I am just an idiot. I will have to try tomorrow when I am on the PC. The tablet will not select the the entire string and the app version just grabs the text below

Kevin,

Even the local game store isn't that organized. Are you available for outpatient work?

Bill.

No. Because for years my "painting table" has been set up for working on slot cars. Besides, I already showed it last time and nothing has changed….
