For those of you in the UK who don't already have a copy Richard Brook's book "William the Marshal, – the Knight who Saved England" is currently available in the Kindle version for 99p. Although the book is published by Osprey it's 360 pages, mostly of text, and not just a series of colour pictures.

Now I've not read it yet, but if it is like Richard's other books it'll have loads of the detail and information and analysis a wargamer needs. Just downloaded a copy to accompany on my morning commute. Can't really lose for 99p.

Apologies I didn't make it clear it was Amazon UK. Although 99p is a bit of a clue. It's quite a bargain too, so no idea how ling it'll stay on offer.
