I am reading Larry McMurtry's "Custer" and I felt a sudden urge to game Pony wars. I climbed downt to my basement to check the old and unpainted pile of Peter Pig's cowboys, see what I could use. There was that cardboard box on the shelf. It was always there, starring into my face; I assumed I had some wooden blocks and bits inside. So,I proceeded to open it. Inside-the treasure. Literally, few hundreds of Indians ,cavalrymen, horses. Evan some field guns and Gatling guns. Huge.
I had only a vague recollection me buying it. It was an Ebuy purchase, stamp said I did it in 2004.
Ancient: the figures are mostly 15mm Rafm( I think that would be Minifigs nowdays) and some 15mm Frontier.
I am aware these cannot be measured by the standards of 15mm Blue Moon, but why compare it at all?
I will have a beer later today and have a toast in honour of senility. This finding of the old made me happier than many new purchases.
Who knows what else is down there?

Had a unit of Drenoi (painted no less) that I was going to play a game with. When I went to find it I found several hundred painted figures I had forgotten about. I found the COMSTOCK LOAD of lead.
