I've been searching for 20mm French troops for the early to mid 60's. Specifically for troops wearing what I can only call the French version of the baseball cap (I don't know the official name for the cap). link I've found various manufacturers who produce figures but with helmets. Enfilade figures make Portuguese figures for the colonial wars (Angola, etc). They seem similar but not quite the same. |

Liberation Miniatures, in their French 1946-1954 figures, has a pack of eight French in sun hats. I'm pretty sure that this is the cap that you mention. They are armed with 6 MAS rifles and two Thompson submachine guns. I don't know if this helps as it is earlier than you were looking for. |

Thanks, actually they might do. The MAS-49 was introduced in 1951 and used until 1979, which covers the period I'm interested in. I'm not sure if the Liberation figures noted are MAS-49 or the earlier MAS-36. But in 20mm scale it should be OK. I do plan to order some figures from various sources just to see what's out there. |
