No competition: One is a TV icon, an inspiration to generations of children of all ages, much copied (appallingly – curse you Frakes) and a touch stone for modelling, special effects and so forth, leading those involved onto even greater glories (blessed be the name of Meadings) like Bond movies but – more importantly – the UFO TV series (the True Cross). Accept no substitutes. F.A.B. Captain Scarlet was of course a bit darker and more mysterious (see what I did there). |
